Scholarship

“I want to thank you for this scholarship. I don’t know if it is luck or if Ousmane has a guardian angel; all I know is that he is being given a great gift from AccessEd and I am very grateful for this.”

(Ousmane’s mother)

Educational-Services

“The help Schuylar received from AccessEd was a vital part of her success as a college applicant. We are very grateful for the important work you do for students! Thank you for the role you played in helping Schuylar to succeed in her dream to attend college.”

(Private college counselor, worked pro bono on this case).

Mission

“I want to share the wonderful news with both of you that Ethan has been granted testing accommodations in all subjects with the College Board. As a result he will be granted 50% additional time on tests. I received the accommodation letter last week. Woo hoo! Thanks for all of your help. I greatly appreciate it and couldn't have done this without you.”

“Making it to an Ivy-League school will mean so much to Timothy. It will continue a dream of progress and achievement that I somehow enacted when all odds were against us. I am a survivor of Domestic Violence. We were in a Women's Battered Shelter when Timothy was just a month old. I did not have a college education. I attended a community college and went on to UC Davis with Timothy by my side. This after receiving remedial public school education all my life, and being discriminated against because English was my second language. I did not advance to my proper grade reading level until the 10th grade, when I had teachers who actually cared. Therefore, if I was able to beat these odds, so will Timothy.”

(From Timothy’s scholarship application)
